After fourteen hours of travel, seven across the Pacific Ocean we arrived in Kona, Hawaii to spend a week with Erik Hemstead, Chris Harvey and Nicole Lepinksi. We came to cheer Erik on during the Kona Ironman, and enjoy a week of fun in the sun, sand and ocean. This picture was taken at the Kona International Airport.

Mik and Erik enjoying the first brew of the trip, and because of the jet lag, just before sunrise.

Pool party anyone? We stayed at a house, called Hale Luana just up from town with a lot of landscaping, including the pool. If you look closely in the middle of the bottom of the pool there is a tile turtle.

Fresh fruit was growing right outside our door all week, and we could eat as much as we wanted. This delicious pineapple was one of many sweet garden treats we enjoyed.

Bananas ripening at the bottom of our stairs.

Lucious papayas......

Date palm trees were on each side of the driveway.

And beautiful Bird of Paradise flowers lining the property.

Our lodging was sweet, with a view of the ocean from the lanai or porch.

The view at sunset.

Our home for the week overlooked Kailua-Kona..two miles below.

It's hard to capture the essence, but this photo does a pretty good job....Chris enjoying a book.

jeni- i always thought you would marry a man with a stronger jaw line than that tiny pecker spandex queen you married. also, at least i know i had you twenty pounds ago when you had a better body. that extra weight makes your face look bloated. your husband is definately a queer but maybe that's as good as you could do. you are certifiably insane with your mouth constantly running and your insane menses. i should have taken a picture of my load running down your face...that would have completed this sorry ass blog!
