Spring Cycling

Jeni and I took a cruise down to the Carp River..

My new Trek 69er.. 26 front 29 front. Handles the big hits like a 29. Has good acceleration like a 26...

Jeni at the Carp River. It has been a dry spring so the water levels are kind of low.

What a nice day to hang out with family. It was great to see
Dan, Sam and Amanda. And the weather was great for hanging out.

The black rocks look mighty fine, but not the
chilly water underneath. Even fearless Sam doesn't
want to jump today.

An ice overhang. Be careful not to send it crashing
into Lake Superior.

Checking out the great view...looking at Middle Island.

"Did you see where that brave young man went?"

"If I can just break a chunk off, then I can float to
Antarctica", thinks this brave explorer.

An expedition along Little Presque Isle.

While overseeing the expedition, this brave young woman poses for the camera.

Three brave explorers...heading out into the Tundra

A little sand bar out to the rocks. It's usually covered in water.

The snow completely melted from McCarty's Cove in March.

No snow on the street.... in March!

Signs of beautiful life popping up down the street.

A beautiful early Spring Day at McCarty's cove in Marquette. The shimmering water was breath taking.
